About me
Hi, I’m Emily, the heart and hands behind Drawn From You. I’m a Clinical Nurse, a mum to two tiny humans, and someone who unexpectedly rediscovered herself through art.
Like many mums, maternity leave reshaped me. Between the nap battles, snack negotiations, and the beautiful chaos of raising little people, I found myself craving something that sparked joy… something small that was mine. A little dopamine fix on the days that felt long.
One quiet afternoon, I decided to draw a portrait of my partner’s late mother, but whose presence is felt so deeply in our family. I picked up a pen, added soft watercolour, and something just clicked. That single, deeply personal piece lit up a part of me I didn’t realise had gone dim.
What began as a simple, heartfelt drawing became the start of a new passion, and a new chapter.
About Drawn From You
Drawn From You was born in those gentle pockets of motherhood, during nap times, in-between feeds, and late at night when the house finally fell quiet. What started as a mat-leave project quickly grew into a small business fuelled by connection, tenderness, and a love for turning everyday moments into meaningful keepsakes.
I take your treasured photos and transform them into fine line prints, finished with soft watercolour. Whether it’s a favourite family photo, a precious memory, or a portrait created in honour of someone no longer here, each piece is crafted slowly and intentionally.
This isn’t just art.
It’s your memories, drawn with care, drawn with feeling, drawn from you.
